ABOUT ENERGY EFFICIENCY & MASS SAVE
*Note – Be sure to check in with the current Community First program for Pittsfield, West Springfield and Springfield!
Energy efficiency is an easy step you can take to save money on your utility bills, feel more comfortable in your home or business and cut your carbon footprint. We’re here to help you connect with Mass Save and other programs that help boost your efficiency or possibly switch to cleaner heating and cooling options.
Mass Save offers include no-cost air sealing and the no-cost Energy Savings Kit with faucet aerators, low flow shower heads and modern thermostats. Insulation is available at 75% off and there are rebates and special 0% interest HEAT loans. And best of all, you don’t need to own your home to take advantage of the program!
WAYS TO GET STARTED:
– Check the Community First program site
– Call Mass Save at 877-527-SAVE
– Take the Online Home Energy Assessment
If you’re not a Berkshire Gas customer and it takes a while to hear back using the methods above, you can contact a Home Performance Contractor directly:
— HomeWorks Energy
— Energia
— Green Collar
