About

Energy efficiency isn’t just about saving money on your utility bills. It’s also about comfort and improved property conditions. Increasing your home or business’ energy efficiency may also be the easiest, most direct step you can take to immediately lower your climate impact.

EE Pittsfield (Energy Efficiency Pittsfield) is an initiative of Berkshire Environmental Action Team to help you understand state programs to boost your efficiency, and possibly switch to cleaner heating and cooling options.

In 2019 we began our initiative with door to door outreach in selected downtown neighborhoods. In 2020, we assisted the City of Pittsfield with the MassSave Municipal Partnership program, a plan to reach a broad array of Pittsfield neighborhoods, faith groups, community groups, renters and landlords and small businesses.

We’re still here to help you understand and sign up for MassSave energy efficiency incentives. Look for DIY our home energy tips and projects information coming up in 2021!
