The Mass Save Small Business program is available for businesses, houses of worship, non-profit or municipal buildings that use less than 40,000 therms of gas or 1.5 million kWh of electricity per year.
Houses of Worship and small municipal or non-profit offices also qualify under the Small Business program.
Like the Residential program, Mass Save’s Small Business program now has Virtual Energy Assessments available during this COVID-19 emergency.

Start with a no-cost energy assessment from the Sponsors of Mass Save, and find out what offers you qualify for.
To support their business customers, their vendors will conduct Virtual Energy Assessments via phone and/or video conference, or you can choose a regular in-person assessment.
Here’s How It Works:
● Contact your Mass Save Sponsor to schedule your no-cost energy assessment.

● A qualified vendor will contact you to determine existing conditions at your facility and identify potential energy savings measures. The vendor may ask for pictures or video to be submitted to help them evaluate the current conditions.
● Most businesses will qualify for an Energy Savings Kit containing easy to install energy saving items like:
- Faucet aerators
- Spray valves
- Showerheads
- Programmable Thermostats
- Pipe insulation
● You will receive a customized Energy Savings Proposal detailing further energy efficiency recommendations. If necessary, a site assessment can be scheduled instead.
● Recommended improvements will be installed by our qualified vendor when on-premise services resume.
